Hi Andrew,

is that new EVB or used one? Do you know the history of this board?

It seems to be question rather for IAR or manufacturer of your debug probe. Is that jlink?

Regards

I am using an NXP S32K344EVB eval board with IAR Embedded Workbench, version 9.30.1.50054

When I try to download a program into the processor I get the subject error:

Fatal error: Failed to read CPUID for Cortex device

Any insight as to why this would be happening? I'm new to both this processor and IAR, so any assistance would be appreciated. Thank you.

Lukas,

The board is used. After further investigation I noticed the a few jumpers weren't installed (J8, J10). After inserting them everything is working as expected. Thanks for your insight.
