      <description>&lt;P&gt;Currently I am testing with the S32K312EVB-Q172.&lt;BR /&gt;The datasheet shows that the standby current consumption of S32K312 is about 50uA based on VDD 5V.&lt;BR /&gt;However, when measuring the current consumption of MCU VDD with EVB, it comes out to about 350uA. (based on VDD 5V)&lt;BR /&gt;When VDD is 3V, it measures about 80uA.&lt;BR /&gt;Can you tell me why EVB's standby current consumption is different from DataSheet?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;You are right, only J10 (VDD_HV_A_MCU) on S32K312.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I don't have the board right now to test it.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;But anyway, it depends on what is running on that MCU.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Table 14 specifies the power consumption at certain conditions specified in Table 20.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Also, it does not include any external load on the pins.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Please use the S32K Power Estimation Tool to estimate the consumption.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;I could not lower the consumption on the S32K312 EVB.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;So I asked a colleague of mine to test same code on this EVB and another NXP internal board that I don't have.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;On the S32K312 EVB, HV_A = 5V, current at J10 = ~350uA.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;On the internal board, HV_A = 5V, HV_A current = 42.56uA.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Not sure what is the root cause here, but it seems to be an issue of the EVB not the MCU.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;You should get lower consumption when testing on your custom board.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
