CSEC_BOOT_MAC update fail

Dear all,

When updating CSEC_BOOT_MAC, CSEC_DRV_LoadKey() returned an update failure. The return value of the failure is STATUS_SEC_KEY_UPDATE_ERROR.May I ask the reason for this failure to rest

PS: I used the auth key is master key.

Add: using master key as the auth key, i can update other keys

Hi,

I can't see reason for this. BOOT_MAC can be updated with knowledge of old value of BOOT_MAC or with knowledge of MASTER_ECU_KEY. Counter needs to be incremented appropriately. How do you calculate M1-M5 values? Are you sure that correct values are provided?
