It's easy to modify this routine, but this shouldn't work properly (if you're using the S32K148EVB) because the ports you mentioned are already occupied.

Hi,

I want to establish a half- or full-duplex connection between my S32K148 EVB and the NVIDIA Jetson AGX Xavier Dev Kit. On the S32K side, I had an idea of configuring it for serial UART communication, using either (PTA9/8 or PTA3/2), however, I don't know how I can modify the S32K148_Project_LPUART to achieve this.

Also, I am unsure how to set up a terminal to see any data sent from and received by the S32K (when it is connected to the Jetson). Is it possible to do this in S32 DS or through the openSDA connection I'm using to program the S32K?

Warm regards,

MUR AS

Hi Jim,

Thanks for your help, I was able to get the UART connection working using openSDA. I wanted to know if there is any way for me visually see the inputs coming into the S32K, asides echoing incoming signals to a computer? As in, is there a serial terminal or an equivalent view in S32 design studio? I can't seem to find one.

Regards,

MUR AS
