S32K148, S32DS CAN Driver Performance Issues.

SDK Version : 3.0.0

Is there any testing statistics for CAN Drivers provided in the SDK?

Currently I see that CAN driver keeps missing frames on the bus. This is happening with flash tool that works over UDS, and when the CAN frame distance is less than 0.6msec apart.

What is the recommended time distance between consecutive message?

CAN Configuration used is individual Mailbox based configuration.(Not FiFO)

Till 45% of the bus load, I do get proper communication, but after that it seems to missing messages.

Any pointer to resolve the same?

Hi,

this is what I got from SDK team...

"The performance of driver’s API depend on different factors (clock, speed rate, payload length, even environment perhaps…). We have no criteria target for the driver performance testing. But we had a report about it which was just called profiling report."

I’ll send you the profiling report of FLEXCAN for RTM 3.0.0 release.
