&lt;P&gt;Let me copy here from the reference manual some reasons why the PRAM is locked:&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi Lukas,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The FSTAT has no error flags asserted.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;My suspicion is that the board I'm using is partitioned with CSEC Key Size = 0. This is the reason why the PRAM is non-accessible. Is my understanding correct?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;yes, that's correct. The PRAM is available if the CSE is enabled by partitioning - when the number of keys is configured to non-zero value.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi LuKas,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;is there any way to unlock the CSE?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;i've got the same problem after i called the eraseKeys() API from csec_utils.c.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;after that, any write to CSE_PRAM will cause a DefaultISR.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;the FSTAT is 0x80; FCSESTAT is 0x40.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
