Hello,

If compare S32G2 RM and S32G3 RM, in pfe chapter, we can see below statement is removed in S32G3.

"PFE_MAC0 also supports 2.5 Gbit/s SGMII. When this mode is enabled, PFE_MAC1 must be used in RGMII/RMII/MII mode if enabled"

I think SGMII support in gmac0 or gmac1 is mutually exclusive.

But how does it fix in S32G3?

Thanks

Hi @JasonTseng,

Thank you for contacting NXP Support!

There are different microprocessors. Therefore, if the feature is not mentioned on reference manual is unsupported.

Hello Brain,

This is a very bad answer honestly.

There is no doubt that S32G3 reused some S32G2 components and software.

Therefore some functions/features or even debugs will also move to S32G3.

Anyway, let me ask this question in different way.

Please could you provide the instructions on how to enable both SGMII on gmac0 and gmac1 simultaneously in S32G3?

Thanks
