Hi NXP team，On the s32g development board, there is an RTC module that uses PCA8565TS. I would like to know the functions and usage scenarios of this module. How can I test whether this module works properly on Linux and why is there no button battery power supply?

For the RTC module information, we can recommend looking into the PCA product page (link: Automotive tiny Real-Time Clock/Calendar with alarm function and I²C-Bus | NXP Semiconductors). More information on regards of this module, we can recommend opening a ticket under the NXP online services.

As for Linux, which BSP version are you using?

Hi, I am using BSP37, I want to know why is there no button battery power supply?

On regards of the button battery, this seems to be a design choice. As for BSP37.0, we do see the following is available under the device tree (s32gxxxa-rdb.dtsi):
