CPU:1 failed to come online error

Dear Team,

I am working on S32G275a eval board. During linux booting time i am getting following errors.

[ 1.089224] CPU1: failed to come online
[ 1.092715] CPU1: failed in unknown state : 0x0
[ 2.150398] CPU2: failed to come online
[ 2.153880] CPU2: failed in unknown state : 0x0
[ 3.211563] CPU3: failed to come online
[ 3.215045] CPU3: failed in unknown state : 0x0

I am able to boot with primary cpu only. But other cpus are failed to boot. Even through sysfs entries also i am not able to make them online.

Can you help me on how to resolve this issue.

This problem description is missing important details:

1. The type of NXP development board you are working with

2. The version of Automotive BSP being used, if at all.

Hi,

I am using s32g275 eval board with bsp 25.0. The following entries are present in dts file.

cpu2: cpu@100 {
device_type = "cpu";
compatible = "arm,cortex-a53";
reg = <0x0 0x100>;
};
cpu3: cpu@101 {
device_type = "cpu";
compatible = "arm,cortex-a53";
reg = <0x0 0x101>;
};

Here i did'nt see enable methods either PCI or SPINTABLE. I am not sure whether this can be the reason for this issue. At u-boot side i am able to see all cpus are up. Kindly let me know whether this issue can be fixed at u-boot or at linux.

Sorry but the information you provided is too vague. S32G275 is a non-existent
part number. Furthermore, there are multiple development systems and reference
designs built around S32G2 processors . Without knowing the exact processor and
board model you are working with, the only suggestion I can share is as follows.
If your hardware is one of the original NXP development or reference boards,
use boot images generated with the most recent automotive BSP. You can build
them locally or use pre-built ones. There are no known issues with multiple
cores startup in the default BSP configuration of u-Boot, Linux an the default DTB.

The most recent Automotive BSP can be obtained by following
this link. Refer to the BSP User Manual for more details.
