&lt;P&gt;There are no driver for pcal6524 in u-boot. i raised a internal ticket for that, I will update here as i got reply from internal team.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi, nxp team:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; Our board has a phy reset pin connected to a gpio expander pin(pcal6524).So how do I take control of this pin in uboot.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;Do I need to development the pcal6524 driver in uboot? I don't find pcal6523 driver in uboot.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;information:&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;linux version: bsp35&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;target board:s32g3&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;Current Linux BSP does not include a driver for PCAL6524 in U-Boot. you can make use of the driver that can be found in upstream &lt;A href="https://github.com/u-boot/u-boot/blob/master/drivers/gpio/pca953x_gpio.c" target="_blank"&gt;https://github.com/u-boot/u-boot/blob/master/drivers/gpio/pca953x_gpio.c&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
