&lt;P&gt;It seems that during booting the Linux, the tee-supplicant is already loaded. you can check it by doing "ps -elf".&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;you can kill the already loaded tee-supplicant and run again or move forward with running the example application.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

      <title>Failed to find an OP-TEE supplicant device in BSP36</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT color="#000000"&gt;Hi NXP,&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT color="#000000"&gt;Here is a problem about "faided to find an OP-TEE supplicant device" when I try to run optee exmaples in S32G BSP36 system.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT color="#000000"&gt;I have&amp;nbsp;edit /conf/local.conf and appended the following line:&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT color="#000000"&gt;DISTRO_FEATURES:append = " optee"&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT color="#000000"&gt;Then use "bitbake fsl-image-auto" to build the image.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT color="#000000"&gt;When I try to run "tee-supplicant &amp;amp;", it report the error: &lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT color="#FF0000"&gt;"ERR [263] TSUP:main:819: failed to find an OP-TEE supplicant device"&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT color="#000000"&gt;By the way, I find a warning print in booting BL31 as below:&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT color="#000000"&gt;&lt;EM&gt;NOTICE: BL2: Booting BL31&lt;BR /&gt;I/TC:&lt;BR /&gt;I/TC: Non-secure external DT found&lt;BR /&gt;I/TC: OP-TEE version: bsp36.0-3.18-dev (gcc version 11.3.0 (GCC)) #1 Fri Mar 24 13:56:10 UTC 2023 aarch64&lt;BR /&gt;I/TC: &lt;FONT color="#FF0000"&gt;WARNING:&lt;/FONT&gt; This OP-TEE configuration might be insecure!&lt;BR /&gt;I/TC: &lt;FONT color="#FF0000"&gt;WARNING:&lt;/FONT&gt; Please check &lt;A href="https://optee.readthedocs.io/en/latest/architecture/porting_guidelines.html" target="_blank"&gt;https://optee.readthedocs.io/en/latest/architecture/porting_guidelines.html&lt;/A&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I/TC: Primary CPU initializing&lt;BR /&gt;I/TC: Primary CPU switching to normal world boot&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Could you help check it, and give some support to solve the problem?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
