So if I want to use the Frame Preemption feature now, I can't use SJA1110 and I can only use GMAC directly?

Hello, I'm a student studying tsn right now. The development board I'm using now is nxp-s32g399-rd3. I want to work on a project that implements Qbu functionality right now. First of all, it's not implemented on the GUI in SJA1110 in nxp-s32g399-rd3. So I'm not sure about the direction right now. I wonder if I should proceed with all of these registers as a register. And I'm also wondering what document these registers are organized in. And now I'm wondering if you're dealing with PFE, GMAC, and LLCE. Also, if I do Qbu, I usually go into eMAC and pMAC, but I'm wondering where layer I'll actually do this!

hi,dongmin

Thank you for contacting us.

If you want to operate the SJA1110 register, you can refer to its User Manul and datasheet. All SJA1110 models are equipped with hardware-assisted information security and functional safety capabilities, multiple gigabit SGMII interfaces, and comply with the latest AVB and TSN standards.

For gmac, it supports Frame Preemption (IEEE 802.1Qbu) for time-sensitive networking. PFE supports 802.1AS-Rev and IEEE 1588 precision clock synchronization protocol. Provides QoS (Quality of Service). LLCE handles CAN/LIN/FlexRay acceleration and routing.

First of all, thank you for your answer, but now I'm looking at the circuit diagram of s32g339-rd3 and now I'm connected from s32g339a to KSZ9031 RJ45 through GMAC0 and this is not connected to ETH_SWITCH SJA1110?
