Hi,

Hi to all,

I'm new on this kind of applications, so I ve to ask help!

I'm following the user guide S32G-VNP-RDB2 SOFTWARE ENABLEMENT GUIDE to create the RBG LED example. I 'm checked all the steps up to page 23. Checked also (more the once) the switches on the board, but i insert the card, powerup the board and the RBG led remains blue.

Previously I laoded the linux OS from the SD card provided by NXP and i can see the system boot up normally.

What I'm doing wrong? There is a way to debug the application? I do not have the debug probe, should I ve to buy it?

Kind regards,

Andrea

Thanks for your post.

For M core related development and debugging on S32G2, we suggest using a debugger for the similar issue faced, currently, the Lauterbach is commonly used for S32G related development, besides, the S32 debug probe could also be used.

Thanks for your reply.

1. From NXP's perspective, both debugger could be used on RDB2, there is standalone IDE for Lauterbach, while the S32 debug probe is used with S32DS.

2. From personal experience, for Industry/AUTOSAR development, which is especially working with EB/Vector, etc. The lauterbach is usually used and supported. While only working with S32DS for development, the S32 debug probe could also be used for debugging purpose
