Problem summary:

As per this guide I downloaded the PFE demo code and ran the installer.
Guide does not mention which folder to import but I imported lwip_s32g274a [please fix guide to point to exact folder explicitly]

After importing, I did right click on project and -> build. As per guide it should build without errors. But it did not. I see following build errors on console:

I am struggling with LWIP on M7 since past 3 days now but I could not find any working demo example and its very frustrating.

Please help pointing in the right direction, I need specific links/docs/source which would just work out-of-the-box. I just need to run LWIP example for M7 core of S32G3.

Thanks for your post.

The demo you tried is related outdated, it is based on very old version S32DS and corresponding RTD/PFE code, which is not compatible with the the S32DS you used.

If you are willing to use this demo, maybe S32DS3.4 is needed.

I need a demo/example that works for my S32 DS environment.

If it is not absolutely necessary to use PFE, then there is a LwIP example based on GMAC interface on S32G, and it support the most recent software release.

If it could fulfill your requirement, then you may try installing the LwIP and FreeRTOS packages provisioned from NXP to the S32DS, then the example could be found

based on your hinted TCIP example, I searched for SW32G_TCPIP_STACK_2.0.0_D2511_DesignStudio_updatesite.zip on NXP software package manager and downloaded it.

I am using S32 Real-Time Drivers Version 5.0.0 QLP03

The example built with this setup.
