Dear NXP Team,

We are currently working with the S32G399A platform and would like to confirm whether it is possible to flash the eMMC directly using the S32 Flash Tool over UART, without requiring a prior boot from QSPI.
According to the BSP documentation (Section 4.1.3 – Setup eMMC), Method 1 describes flashing eMMC using the Flash Tool via UART. Could you please confirm if this method supports standalone eMMC flashing without depends on QSPI boot
Our goal is to avoid using QSPI boot and instead flash the eMMC independently. Kindly confirm if this is supported.

Regards,
Guruprasad

Thanks for your reply,
I replied via the support portal several days ago, yes, it is supported, you may change the board to the serial boot mode(not need to change to QSPI boot mode in advance), and then use the Flash Tool to flash the eMMC on board.
