SAF eMCEM and Fault Reaction - S32g3

Hi Team,

I have integrated eMCEM module (initialization successful - E_OK) and was trying to check the fault handling through the reaction configured in eMCEM module (R1, R2 and R3).

i have enabled only EMCEM_FCCU_M7_0_SRAM_ECC_UE fault and other things like

1. Recoverable: software recoverable

2. IRQ: Enabled

3. NMI: Enabled

4. Recovery timeout: Enabled.

5. Alarm Handler: UserdefaultalarmHandler

6. No reset reaction

i have injected fault using API eMcem_InjectFault(EMCEM_FCCU_M7_0_SRAM_ECC_UE).

observation: when i try to add breakpoint at UserdefaultalarmHandler/UserdefaultNMIHandler and inject fault it doesn't stop at this breakpoint.

when i try to debug it resets after Inject fault macro is called. in spite of configuring reaction type to NoResetReaction.

how to verify the fault is handled.?

if anyone could drop some information regarding this it would be helpfull. Thanks in advance!

For such R3 faults, it is suggested following the example configuration in eMCEM UM:

Since it cannot be recovered from the software reactions.

so configuration vise i have mapped R3 reaction. when i tried to put breakpoint in handler function (both alarm handler and NMI handler). the execution doesn't stop at breakpoint.

so is there ISR should be configured?

I mentioned that the alarm interrupt is not enabled, I suggest enabling it and then to check if the breakpoint could be available under your alarm handler.

Yeah, it worked.

had to configure the ISR in OS. ISR mentioned in UM. and rest everything works fine.
