QSPI secboot failed with SDK BSP43 secboot image on RDB3

Hi,

I tested secure boot on RDB3 board with SDK BSP43 release images, but it failed when test qspi secure boot feature, and I attached the whole log of test.

Would you please help to check the issue?

Sorry for the delay.

I tested it on local board and it seems correct, would you mind checking the following steps:

1. Build the images by adding secboot to the conf/local.conf

2. Use the mtd write command under u-boot to update the bl2_w_dtb.s32-qspi that built from Yocto

3. When using hse-secboot to enable secure boot, just copy 3 files needed from Yocto build to the board, then run the hse-secboot.

Yes, I add the secboot feature in my conf/local.conf, and the test steps as I attached previously. Could you please use my steps to check it again and give your whole log, then I can compare the differences.

And I will test it with your steps to see the status again.

Thanks for your log, it is helpful.

And did you try to test the case by using linux command flashcp to write the flash and enable the secure boot?

As the original log I attached, it failed when I write the flash using flashcp command, so I want to find the reason.

And I tested the case using your steps, and the secure boot passed indeed, but when I tried to power down and power up the board after, it hang there without nothing messages.

And I am still working on it to find the reason.

Thanks for you confirmation.

Regarding to flashcp, from BSP UM, it is suggested using the script included in the rootfs, and actually mtd_debug is used, I suggest checking if there are implementation differences between the two applications.(mtd_debug and flashcp)

So currently there is no issue for secure boot itself? sorry I did not reproduce the issue you mentioned from my side(After secure boot, power off and power on).

I tested the case several times again, recently, and the result is that, most success, but failure also happened.

May I know if the same "bl2_w_dtb.s32-qspi-sdk" is used in your continuous tests? how many tests made? What is the proportion of failure cases?

Yes, I used the same bl2 binary for about 5 times, it failed in last test, then I saved the failure message.

I will created a totally new BSP43 project to test again.
