Hello, @TJL

Thanks for your post

HSM is usually mentioned on i.MX/layerscape products from NXP, which means Hardware Security Module, from my view:

The hardware security module on S32G is called HSE_H, <LI-WRAPPER>while on S32K3xx is called </LI-WRAPPER>HSE_B (Base).

I am not very sure of the status on S32K1xx, for details on such products, I suggest asking it in the corresponding board.

BR

Hello, @TJL

Thanks for your reply.

From my understanding.

HSM seems be the common name of such security engine/security module that existed in SOC.

For the IP name(specific name of each SOC), they would be different. I suggest reading the RM of different SOC for accurate expression.

For example, in S32K3: it is called HSE_B

In S32G: it is called HSE, or more clear, HSE_H

On i.MX8 and Layerscape1/2, it is called CAAM

I am not very familiar with other platforms, but I know there are other names like ESE, etc.

BR
