Hi,

I am sorry if this is a dumb question. I am just starting with embedded projects. I am trying to make sense of the RM of the S32G2 platform to implement interfacing with an eMMC and I saw the term 'clk_src_0' mentioned a lot of times but nowhere is it defined what 'clk_src_0' or 'clk_src_2' is. Can you please let me know what that is ? Is it a generic term to mention the main clock source or is it something else ?

So much thanks.

Hi @Arbabmir,

You can find the definition of the clock source numbers at the 24. Clock Generation Module Chapter.

[page 859, S32G2 Reference Manual, Rev. 8, 02/2024]

The table it refers to is at the 23. Clocking Chapter.

[page 801, S32G2 Reference Manual, Rev. 8, 02/2024]

To see all the clocks sources please refers to this table at the reference manual.

Thank you so much for this. I was searching the whole document for the string 'clk_src_0' and came up with nothing. Thanks again!!
