Hi all, we are using 2 pre-programmed PF8200 PMICs as recommended by NXP for the i.MX8QM. The DBES and ESES. One issue we see is that the PGOOD signals are disabled by default which is a bit strange given it is quite an important feature to know whether the rails are all within their correct range.

Software is not my strong point, so am I able to clarify whether the PGOOD signal is able to be enabled by I2C from the iMX8?

Thanks
Peter

Hi Peter,

You are correct, PGOOD is disabled by default on DBES and ESES versions because of a requirement of the designers. However, I recommend you to contact your NXP sales representative or your NXP Authorized distributor and depending on the opportunity, NXP fabric or distributors can make a custom part number with your specific PGOOD requirements.

Regards,

Jose

NXP Semiconductors
