At room temperature also it is not getting started by its own. On a manual power cycle, it is getting started. So, do we need to power cycle every time when it(PMIC) gets shutoff by itself? OR will get started by itself?

Here we are waiting for pmic to go below threshold and restart the processor again, however it is not happening.

Workaround:

If we connect the "PWRON" pin with external pull-up or SNVS supply, then the PMIC recovers automatically after going below thermal protection threshold and restarts the processor.

1) Is it necessary to connect the "PWRON" to external pull-up?

2) If yes, then can we have such information located in datasheet? Any recommended pin configuration for thermal protection recovery?

I have attached the below screenshot showcasing our current schematic design of PMIC with i,MX6ULL.

Waiting for your helping response.

Regards,

Vivek
