If you do OTP emulation operation firstly you need generate OTP_script file according your request.

You can use attached file to generate OTP script file.

Dear NXP Team and Family,

We are utilizing the FS8530 through the KITFS85FRDMEVM evaluation kit for testing purposes and would like to operate the evaluation board in OTP emulation mode to test the FS8530 chip’s flexibility.

Our goal is to achieve the following voltages:

Vboost: 5 V

Vbuck1: 1.8 V

Vbuck2: 1.25 V

Vbuck3: 1.8 V

LDO1: 1.1 V

LDO2: 1.8 V

For the power-up sequence, we are following the steps outlined in the datasheet. Here’s a summary of the procedure:

Connect a 12 V, 1 A supply to the evaluation board.

Connect the USB port to the evaluation board.

Verify the positions of SW1, SW2, and SW3 switches, as well as J9 (refer to page 29 of the UM11157 user guide).

Power on the supply, close SW2, and switch SW3 to the right.

Open FlexGUI, search for and connect to the COM port.

Switch to test mode.

I have attached a PDF with images detailing the operational steps to achieve our target.

We successfully powered Vboost, Vbuck2, and Vbuck3. However, Vbuck1, LDO1, and LDO2 did not turn on as expected.

Could you help us identify any potential issues with our procedure or provide guidance on how to successfully operate the evaluation board to meet our target voltages?

Looking forward to your response.

Best regards,
Jeet Panchal
