&lt;P&gt;The MC33774A as well as other NXP BCCs use&amp;nbsp;passive cell voltage balancing&amp;nbsp;to equalize the individual cell voltages across the battery stack. There are currently no designs available using active cell balancing.&lt;/P&gt;
