Hi Deen,

The VR5510 has full operation range with VSUP_UVH to 36 V, that means all parameters in datasheet are guaranteed. If the VR5510 continuous working within 36V to 60V, not all parameters could fully respect the Spec, but the device will not be damaged. If you want to use constant 48V as input to VR5510, then it may not perform as per specification.

Best regards,

Hi, NXP engineers

In the VR5510 manual, I see that the upper limit of the nominal voltage is 36V, and 36V-60V is the extend operation range. My question is in the range of 36-60V, can the VR5510 work completely normally? If not, what features are unavailable or derated?

Our system is a 48V system, considering that the highest voltage may reach 50V, this feature is very critical for us.
