I am designing a hardware using LS1046 for space applications. I am using PF8100 and LTC7150 as in freeway board for the power supply.

1) Should I use and other devices (like TVS diode or zener diode) other than in freeway board to reduce the transients?

2) If I should use the above, where should I place the same?

Thanking you in advance.

If add the robustness performance on EMC test, you can add the TVS on input terminations of regulators.

According the EMC level to select the corresponding components.

Thank you very much for your prompt response. Can you please suggest any TVS diode for this application. As per design, I will get 5v of input voltage from 6 pin picoblade connector and then I should down convert that to 3.3.V(using LT8642) and 1V (LTC7150) and 3.3 V as the input of PMIC(PF8100). Where can I add the TVS? Should I filter the 5V power from ATX power supply?

Thanking you in advance.
