    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi Norman,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;PF1550 and PF1510 are similar to each other with some specific features of difference:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;PF1510 specific features: 1.5 A front-end LDO&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;PF1550 specific features: Linear 1 A Li+ Battery Charger&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The PF1510 is same as PF1550 except for the charger function, we removed the charging function for the PF1510.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you are not planning to use these specific features, then the PF1550 driver should be compatible for the PF1510.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;These PMICs share the same address and register map (except for the special features), so, PF1550 driver can be used for PF1510, just ignore charger related operations.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Have a great day,&lt;BR /&gt;Jose&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;-------------------------------------------------------------------------------&lt;BR /&gt;Note:&lt;BR /&gt;- If this post answers your question, please click the "Mark Correct" button.       <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hello,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;is the pf1550 driver from the &lt;EM&gt;imx_4.9.88_2.0.0_ga&lt;/EM&gt;&amp;nbsp; kernel compatible with the pf1510?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I also checked&amp;nbsp;&lt;EM&gt;imx_4.14.78_1.0.0_ga&lt;/EM&gt;, which doesn't have a driver for pf1510 either.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;My processor is a IMX6ULL (MCIMX6Y2CVM08AB)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Regards,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Norman&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
