Hi NXP experts,

for the shake of simplicity in the current stage of our project, we want to replace the FS8530 PMIC by the VR5500 PMIC so that the functional safety aspects (e.g. watchdog feature) need not to be considered right now.

And the question is:

Are the FS8530 PMIC and the VR5500 PMIC 100% compatible except for functional safety features? I.e.

Regulator outputs compatible ?

Pin compatible ?

Design compatible ?

Thanks very much for your support.

BL
