As this product is under NDA you have to get in contact with one of the MK that provide this DK. They could provide more information about the MFi and the possible requirements that you need.

Recently we are tring to develop an outdoor accessories for an equipment using the NXP Trimension UWB chips. If we want to interact with the Apple U1 chip and join the Homekit programe, it require a MFi license.

My question is, in the case with the NXP Treimension, do we as a developer need to have our own MFi license?

If we do, are there something we need to know before we start?

Thanks a lot for the sharing.
