MFS offers a standard FAT filesystem, which does not deal well with power failures during write operations. What means are provided in MFS to recover from such event? In a brief check through MQXMFSUG.pdf, I did not find any mention of filesystem checking functionality. Is reformatting currently the only method for cleaning a corrupted FAT...?

Nothing exists from Freescale as far as I know. I have looked for the same thing. The best you can hope for as of now is to managed your saves so that they minimize any corruption effects. Or write your own version of chkdsk
