Configure IPV6 route

Hello!
We are currently using a Wi-SUN Network, where the end-devices have IPV6 address in 2017::/64 range and they are accessible through a gateway on the network 2001 (2001::2). The Ethernet Interface of our communication board is connected directly to this gateway by a ethernet cable and was configured with the address 2001::1.

The initial idea was to send UDP datagrams from the board to one of the end-devices through the gateway, but it did not work (unfortunately we can't get the traffic in this scenario).

We did some tests using a directly communication between the board and a computer with Linux Ubuntu. We've sent the udp datagrams using IPV6 Link-Local Addresses (FE80::/64) and it worked pretty fine, we were able to get the traffic between theses two devices. But the problem is when we try to use another IPV6 address than fe80::/64, it just doesn't work.

With this, we have a scenario where link-local addresses work well in point-to-point communication, but any attempt to use global addresses fails, whether via Wi-SUN gateway or direct connection.

Is there any way to configure a route on RTCS IPV6? If it's not, how can we proceed?

Hello! I forgot to mention that we are using MQX V4.2 + RTCS IPV6 addon that we've previously purchased with NXP.
Using v5 is not an option for us now, could you help us in this case?
