Hi NXP Team,

We are using the single-core M7 i:MX RT1170 CPU.

According to the document, SNVS mode can power down all of domain except SNVS domain by powering down the external DCDC circuit. Either software

or hardware can help to enter the SNVS mode

We are in the process of supporting Standby mode either by Software or Hardware.

Now, We are considering employing Hardware mode because it was created to meet our needs (Press the ON/OFF button for more than five seconds).

But in this SNVS mode, we have certain reservations.

Verify whether the SVNS and StandBy (STBY) modes are same?

The SNVS hardware mode ensures the following before going into a low-power state.

1. To enter a low-power mode safely, all peripherals must finish all transmissions and stop receiving new transmissions.

2. Internal BUS malfunction

3. Turn off and clear this interrupt's status bit.

4. All but the wakeup source of the system have been stopped.

How about implementing the SNVS mode is Software ?

We verified in SDK but it supports all modes and its quite difficult to follow all the code.

Is there any demo application only for Standby mode?

Thanks in Advance for your support !!!!
