You can find more information in the Reference Manual for the MCF52223: &lt;A href="https://www.nxp.com/docs/en/reference-manual/MCF52223RM.pdf" target="test_blank"&gt;https://www.nxp.com/docs/en/reference-manual/MCF52223RM.pdf&lt;/A&gt; in the chapter 27.
