topic RTCS and SNMP manager in MQX Software Solutions

For a project currently under development, we need to use SNMP which I'm not familiar with. I was happy to see that the RTCS implements the protocol, however, the given example only shows how to set up an agent while our system needs to manage another equipment. I failed to understand how to use the existing RTCS code to SNMP SET/GET request.

Could you give me some pointers on where and what to look for ? The answer may be very obvious or simple but my lack of understanding on the subject doesn't allow me to see it.

Hi

I would suggest you refer to the snmp demo , this demo demonstrates how SNMP uses Trap command message to communicate between the manager and the agent.

Freescale_MQX_4_2\rtcs\examples\snmp

Regards

Daniel
