topic IEEE1588 Stack on KSDK 1.2/1.3? in MQX Software Solutions

I am evaluating the 1588 functionality on the K64 processor for an upcoming project. I have been able to get the sample 1588 code for MQX 4.2 up and running on both FRDMK64F and a TWRK64F boards. Unfortunately, that's as far as I've been able to get as we are working with KDSK1.2 (and maybe 1.3 shortly). I spent a little time trying to see the scope of porting the mqx1588 project myself and ran into a few roadblocks -- mostly the lack of a macnet driver in ksdk. It's possible that some of the 1588 functionality has been rolled into the enet driver, I just haven't stared at it enough so see it.

Can someone tell me if a 1588 port is forthcoming, hopefully with an ETA? I would hate to go any further down this rabbit hole only to find that there's a FS engineer working on it.
