Jumper setting in MQX 4.1.1 USB CDC virtual_nic (Ethernet over USB) example...

Hi,

I'm having problems interpreting the Readme.txt file directions that are part of the USB CDC virtual_nic (Ethernet over USB) example.

They state:

[From: Workbench->InformationCenterForARM_ExampleProjects->USB_DCD->ExampleDescription]

TWR-K70F120M setup [Assumed to be the ARM Processor Board / NOT the TRW-SER (aka serial port) Board.]
   ----------------
   J1   VREGIN_VBUS
   1-2 ON

I think I found the J1 jumper. But no where does it say "VREGIN_VBUS".

   50MHz clock input
   J19 1-2 ON
   J18 1-2 ON

I think I found the J18 and J19 jumpers. But the labeling doesn't say 50MHz clock. Rather J18 and J19 are labeled as "OFF-Y1 EN" and "Y1 PWR" respectively.

Can anyone clear this up?

You are right, these names just shortly describes what these settings really cause.

If you place jumper at connector J1, it will cause connection between VREGIN and USB0_VBUS signals.

If you place jumper at connector J19 to position 1-2, it will cause powering of on-board 50 MHz clock source.

If you place jumper at connector J18 to position 1-2, it will cause enabling on-board 50 MHz clock and connecting to main EXTAL_MAIN signal (EXTAL pin).
