    <description>&lt;P class=""&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Dear Sir,&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class=""&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;We are designing a system based on the &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;NXP i.MX8M Plus&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt; processor and would like your guidance regarding the implementation of an &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;HD-SDI interface&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class=""&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Our requirement is to support &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;three HD-SDI outputs&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;. We are planning to use the &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;LVDS interface&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt; of the i.MX8M Plus and convert it to HD-SDI using the following devices:&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;LMH0340SQE/NOPB&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt; – LVDS to HD-SDI Serializer&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;2 × LMH0324RTWT&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt; – 1-to-3 HD-SDI Distribution Amplifiers&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;&lt;P class=""&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Could you please confirm whether the &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;LVDS interface of the i.MX8M Plus&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt; is compatible with this architecture for generating three HD-SDI outputs?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class=""&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;If this approach is not recommended or supported, could you please suggest an alternative solution for implementing three HD-SDI interfaces while continuing to use the &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;i.MX8M Plus&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt; processor? We would prefer to retain the i.MX8M Plus in our design, as it satisfies all of our other system requirements.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class=""&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;We would appreciate your recommendations and any reference designs or application notes that may help us implement this interface successfully.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class=""&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Thank you for your support.       <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Unfortunately I'm not really used to this kind of use case, as I was investigating the part you have shared it seem that it is expected to use with an FPGA not an LVDS channel, so I'm not sure that you may use this interface for that.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Maybe using a different bridge or other of the interfaces in the i.MX8MP or even another layer (FPGA) in between could be a solution.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Best regards/Saludos,&lt;BR /&gt;Aldo.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
