You can find useful step-by-step workflow in the tool documentation, see here:

Processor-specific workflows — Secure Provisioning Tool 26.03

The USB interface is not supported in ISP mode, you need to use UART.

MCXE247VLQ In System Programming or similar to write firmware to flash memory

I am developing a new board using a MCXE247VLQ.

On previous designs (with older NXP ICs) we have used the ISP (In system programming) functionality to program the firmware into the devices at manufacture, using Flash Magic. This has been used with a USB connector and FT232 IC to drive the ISP signals.

I am struggling to find information on this in the MCXE24x Series Reference Manual. Reading around on forums suggests that I should be moving to the NXP Secure Provisioning Tool rather than Flash Magic (which is fine), but I can't work out how to interface the USB connector to the MCXE24x device.

Is there some documentation or example circuits you can point me to?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
