&lt;P&gt;Thanks for your post.&amp;nbsp;They are very similar, but not exactly the same.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;We proposes 2 portfolios of microcontrollers with similar hardware configuration: S32K31 automotive microcontrollers focus on automotive applications requiring Automotive-grade components and certification.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;MCX E31 focuses on industrial applications with industrial mission profiles and certification.&lt;BR /&gt;While S32K31 also serves industrial applications. MCX E31 provides a complete and more coherent environment with the rest of MCX portfolio for industrial applications.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;For details on the key differences between the S32K31 and MCX E31 microcontroller families, as well as information regarding software-related aspects, please refer to this application note.&lt;/P&gt;
