Hi @nnxxpp

By clicking the VALIDATION TARGET button, a modal window appears to insert new
target devices or select an existing device to perform the validation on. You can also choose to not select a
target and validate the model on your local host (your computer) by default.
Clicking the “VALIDATE” button starts the validation process.

You can refer to the eIQ Toolkit User Guide.

eIQ_Toolkit_v1.13.1\docs\eIQ_Toolkit_UG.pdf

My question is same as the title.

As my understanding Validation is for local host and Target validation is the board. Is that right?

If Target validation is the board it means that we need to connect board to PC and eIQ will copy all script for evaluation to the board. After evaluation eIQ will remove data from the board. Is that right?

I have one more question. Does eIQ have feature that allow us to measure inference time on the board (emulation)?
