&lt;P&gt;No, unfortunately we do not provide examples of the FlexIO acting as an I2C target.&amp;nbsp; There had been an effort in the past to do this but it was abandoned as&amp;nbsp;it couldn’t fully meet the spec and ended up needing more shifter/timer resources than the I2C controller mode. (eg: more than 2 shifters and 2 timers).&amp;nbsp; It is more efficient in terms of FlexIO resources to use LPI2C for target mode and FlexIO for controller mode.&lt;/P&gt;

      <title>MCXN236: Using FLEXIO pins as I2C slave</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I want to use the MCXN236 as a peripheral device and use the FLEXIO pins for I2C communication. There is an example project in SDK "flexio_i2c_interrupt_lpi2c_transfer" but it only has the driver to acts as a controller.&amp;nbsp;Is there any example code/drivers to use these pins for the peripheral?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
