SDRAM connection

Hi,

I want to use an SDRAM (64Mb Synchronous Dynamic RAM) in my design based on MCXN23x. I couldn't find any information or a sample circuit diagram about it. I found out that only there is a way to connect it using FLEXIO; but I'm unsure.

Does anybody have any idea or similar experience?

Hello, I hope you are well.

FlexIO can emulate different parallel interfaces however it will be difficult to integrate parallel SDRAM as FlexIO only has 32 pins.

One alternative to this is using a serial RAM so you can emulate the interface on FlexIO: Using FlexIO to emulate Quad SPI master (nxp.com)
