Hi, Jana,

For production flash programming before it gets soldered onto a PCB, I suppose that you can develop a target board which integrates a socket which adapts to your package of LPC54606J512BD. After the flash is written, you can pop up the processor from the socket.

You can use the blhost tools or Flash magic tools to download code, in the condition, the processor must be in ISP mode.

Hope it can help you

BR

XiangJun Rong

Hi Rong,
thank you for your answer.

I was hoping to find an off-the-shelf solution, but sounds like I have to design it myself.

So in total I would need:
- socket (to plug in the MCU)
- pull up resistors (puts MCU in ISP mode)
- connector for connecting an external flashing tool (like Flash Magic)
- I also need to power the MCU right?

Thank you,
Jana

Hi, Jana,

Yes, there is not the off-the-shelf solution, you have to develop the board yourself. On the board, the socket, pull-up/down resistors for the ISP pins, connector, power supply are required.

BR

XiangJun Rong

Elnec have device programmers that include support for LPC546xx devices. They might have something for you: https://www.elnec.com/en/search/
