We are having design progressing With LS1043. There are 4 Ethernet Interfaces planned , 2 Copper and 2 Fiber (SFP). Copper Ports will be Interfaced via RGMII to EC1 and EC2 . Planning to Use Serdes Lane A and Lane B as SGMII mode to connect the SFP . Can I connect the SFP directly to the SGMII. Is there any Retimers required ? Is there any timing or Electrical Compatibility issue .
