      <description>&lt;P&gt;MC complex is a proprietary hardware and microcode. Users request MC services&lt;BR /&gt;an exchange information with it by utilizing the API specified in DPAA2 API &lt;BR /&gt;Reference Manual (DPAA2APIRM). More information on MC concept and programming model&lt;BR /&gt;can be found in DPAA2 User Manual ( DPAA2UM). Both these documents are PDF&lt;BR /&gt;attachments to &lt;A title="LSDKUG" href="https://www.nxp.com/docs/en/user-guide/LSDKUG_Rev20.12.pdf" target="_self"&gt;NXP LSDK User Guide&lt;/A&gt;.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Generally speaking, there are no provisions for MC firmware development and/or customization by &lt;BR /&gt;users. However, on DPAA2 processors with AIOP, you can develop software which &lt;BR /&gt;runs at effectively the same level as MC and has direct access to DPAA2 resources.&lt;BR /&gt;See LSDK User Guide, Sections 8.3.1.4.4 and 8.3.7 for more information. AIOP-enabled &lt;BR /&gt;processors are LS1088, LS2088 and their derivatives. LX2160 does not have AIOP,&lt;BR /&gt;so for this particular chip there are no options.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If you are interested in AIOP software development, the requirements are AIOP-enabled on&lt;BR /&gt;Layerscape processor, CodeWarrior for Advanced Packet Processing and a paid support plan.&lt;/P&gt;
