Hello,

I'm using a LS1028A-RDB board as LS1027AE processor (changed on DIP Switches).

I was able to visualize the Security Fuse Processor (SFP) registers with the CodeWarrior ARMv8 GDB tools ("reg_print SFP" command). I set the TA_PROG_SFP jumper (J28) of the LS1028A-RDB board. However, when I try to change some value, it is not written for true. I see my value written, but when I reboot the board, it is cleaned again. I saw a topic (https://community.nxp.com/t5/Layerscape/question-about-fuse-address/td-p/494808) speaking about enabling the INGR register. Is there any description in a document regarding the SFP registers?

The LS1027A datasheet says that there is details about the SFP on the Reference Manual, but it is not mentions to SFP functionality, only the start address on System Mapping. Also, the section 9.7 mentioned on the topic doesn't exist in the QorIQ LS1021A Reference Manual. Where can I find a description of how to use the SFP?

Thank you in advance.

Igor

The SFP module is an integral part of the Trust Architecture, details of which are confidential and are not disclosed publicly.

Please create a Technical Case if you need information considering the Trust Architecture implementation details:

Hello ufedor,

Thank you for the quick answer.

I only want to use the SFP as user. Do I need to create a Technical Case even if I only want to know what the SFP registers are and how to write them? I don't need too much details about the implementation. Only what bits I can change and what they do.

Best regards,

Igor

> Do I need to create a Technical Case even if I only want to know

> what the SFP registers are and how to write them?

Yes.

Please consider that writing the SFP fuses requires clear understanding of the procedure - else the processor could be irreversibly broken.
