      <title>LS1046A - DUART/LPUART difference</title>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hello community,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;i have a question about the LS1046A DUART/LPUART interface.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;In the LS1046A reference manual (Rev. 0, 01/2017) is written (yellow marked below) that the hardware flow control (CTS/RTS) is supported ONLY on LPUART1/LPUART2 and LPUART3.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper" image-alt="pastedImage_1.png"&gt;&lt;img src="https://community.nxp.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/27240iBF904304B79FC89B/image-size/large?v=v2&amp;amp;px=999" role="button" title="pastedImage_1.png" alt="pastedImage_1.png" /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am using the CodeWarrior PinMuxing and it is possible to choose the hardware flow control (CTS/RTS-Signals) in LPUART and DUART.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Is it possible to use the hardware flow control in DUART as well?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Best regards,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Juergen&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
