Just to clarify a few points that often cause confusion:

There is no standalone LX2080A development board. The official NXP evaluation platform for the LX2 family (including LX2080A) is the LX2160A-RDB-Rev2. This board is designed to support the entire LX2 series, so it serves as the reference platform for LX2080A as well.

Also, please note that the LS2088A and LX2080A are completely different SoCs — different architectures, different feature sets, and different software support. Make sure you confirm which exact chip you intend to evaluate before selecting hardware.

If your target is indeed an LX2-series processor (LX2080A, LX2160A, etc.), then the LX2160A-RDB-Rev2 is the appropriate board to use. There is no separate LX2080A-specific RDB from NXP.

Hope this helps narrow down your hardware selection.

Hello,

The official board shown in related hardware, the LS2088A-RDB , is listed at $3573.72 USD ,and the closest official option is LX2160A-RDB , but it is listed at $5127.85 USD but we there is no LX2080A.
