LS1021A PLL setting

Hi,

I am evaluating LS1021A for one of our project.

Does code warrior provide option of performing PLL settings for all interfaces like DDRclk, Sysclk etc.?

I see SerDes Configuration and Validation is the tool for the same. If yes, then is it free or do we need to purchase it?

The request is not clear - is it about RCW preparation?

Hi Deepak,

You have to download 'CodeWarrior Development Studio for QorIQ LS series - ARM V8 ISA' to modify clock settings from reset configuration word(RCW). You can modify PLL config in RCW using the codewarrior tool. For more details about codewarrior tool refer

This statement is not correct because LS1021A belongs to ARMv7.

Hi Ufedor,

Thank you for correcting me. I'm having ubuntu 12.04 machine. I've attached a screen shot of the code warrior tool that I use.

In this it is displayed that ARM V8 ISA, and the pbl generated for qspi using this version works for my LS1021A-IOT board.

The same QCVS is used by ARMv7 and ARMv8 CodeWarrior IDEs.
