Hello,

we have a custom board with an LS1046A and a DDR4 DIMM module.

I have extensively read the QCVS_DDR_User_Guide.pdf.

When I start QCVS and create a new QorIQ DDR validation project, I have the option to read the SPD. After I read the SPD, I get the green check mark. I go ahead and click FINISH.

Now when I go to the Component Explorer, and look at the DDR properties, I click on "SPD Data" and then on the "..." Now, I expect to see the SPD data, but it is not populated (I get two empty boxes). I do see a file "ddr_spd.properties" in the project folder, and when I open it, it appears to contain the SPD data in XML format. Lots and lots data in that file ...

I have followed all the steps as outlined in QCVS_DDR_User_Guide section 1.1.4.1, pages 22-25, but do not get the same behavior.

I am running Ubuntu 22.04, in case that matters.

Any pointers appreciated !

Many Thanks,

rudi

Please refer to my following screenshot captured when connecting CodeWarrior to LS1046ARDB.

Do you have LS1046ARDB? If yes, please connect your CodeWarrior to LS1046ARDB to do verification.
