&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Can you please share the u-boot commands used to read registers from both PHYs?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Since they are on the same bus, they should show the same Clause implementation if they are both CL45 devices.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;In u-boot, if you give two arguments, it will try CL22. If you give three arguments, it will try CL45.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;At the HW level, you can double check MDIO_CCFG[ENC45]=1 from the MDIO offsets.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

      <title>LS1046 Dual 10G XFI PHY MDIO problem</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi，&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;On my customized board, i have a Broadcom BCM89890 10g phy connected to XFI.9 and a Marvell AQR113C 10g phy connected to XFI.10.&amp;nbsp; They share the same EMI2 mdc/mdio interface.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Now XFI.10 AQR113C phy works ok but XFI.9 BCM89890 does not.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;In uboot, when i read the BCM phy mdio register, the return is 0xff which seems incorrect. When i use a oscilloscope to probe, the waveform seems to be a MDIO C22 protocol while BCM89890 requires C45.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;dts and eth.c are attached. Could you help to check where is wrong in the system.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
